Sarah Flotte is a member of Kopon Airdo’s employment law team.  She represents employers in all aspects of employment law, including litigation, client counseling, and training.   Ms. Flotte routinely handles charges of discrimination pending before federal, state, and local administrative agencies, and litigates state and federal complaints of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.  Ms. Flotte advises employers nationwide, including high schools, colleges, universities, nursing homes, and corporations, with respect to federal legislation impacting their decisions, actions, and policies.   She is also a co-author of the firm’s Employment Law Manual.

While a student at DePaul University College of Law, Ms. Flotte received the CALI Awards of Excellence in Employment Discrimination Law, Trial Advocacy, Pre-Trial Civil Litigation, and Legal Writing III.   She also received Dean’s List honors and served as the Vice President of the DePaul University College of Law Appellate Moot Court Society.  As a member of the Appellate Moot Court Society, Ms. Flotte represented DePaul University in the 2007 National First Amendment Moot Court Competition and the 2008 William E. McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court Competition.
