Patrick Cella is a senior associate with Kopon Airdo, LLC. Mr. Cella concentrates his practice in the area of complex civil litigation, which includes premises liability, school law, nursing home litigation, and products liability. Mr. Cella also practices in a variety of commercial and contract matters including, risk management strategies in contract formation and negotiation, commercial contract disputes, and the Uniform Commercial Code.
Mr. Cella’s tort litigation work includes representation of high schools and colleges accused of negligent supervision, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and defamation. Through Mr. Cella’s premises liability work, he has represented a variety of institutions, including, religious organizations, nursing homes, elementary schools, high schools, and colleges.
In his work with nursing homes and long term care facilities, Mr. Cella has become well versed in the issues presented by the Illinois Nursing Home Care Act, as well as the regulations promulgated by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
In addition to his tort litigation experience, Mr. Cella has also worked with several clients in drafting contracts and has prosecuted claims to enforce contracts for his commercial clients.
